How Does Zillow Create Their Zestimates?

Sellers tell me that Zillow is frequently wrong. What you don't know is that the Rutherford County MLS does not report their sold information to the public. Zillow has to get the information they have on line from county records. Further information may be wrong including square footage. Zillow pulls data from the MLS, but some of that data can be changed by the seller or the listing agent. The best place to get information is at the source. In this video Zillow tells how they value homes.
